Dr. Jordan A. Fenton, Assistant Professor of Art History (recently promoted to Associate Professor), is a specialist of African Art History, with an emphasis on the visual and performed expression of Nigerian masquerade arts. At Miami, Fenton teaches introductions on non-Western art and courses and seminars exploring Africa and its Diaspora.
Howe Writing Across the Curriculum (HWAC) welcomes 20 new Miami professors as Faculty Writing Fellows Program alumni. This latest cohort of Fellows includes faculty teams from teacher education, music, architecture + interior design, and commerce. Each team prepared a project geared toward curricular change in writing instruction.
