Miami University was one of five finalists in the category of Media Relations Campaign during the national 2024 Social Media, Digital, and Content Marketing Awards hosted by PR Daily on Aug. 1.

The story received national attention, including coverage from People, the Today Show, and many more.

Delta Dental of California, Nikon, SEGA of America, and WagerWire joined Miami as finalists. Delta Dental of California won the category.

Alecia Lipton, associate director of media relations, and Courtney Russell, director of marketing, represented Miami at the awards ceremony in New York.

The awards “spotlighted the hidden stars and talent behind impressive social and content marketing campaigns to showcase their work and honor professionals in a range of categories, from Best Social Media Campaign to Digital Community Engagement.”
