Stephanie Nicely, chair and associate professor of Nursing, is one of seven new members of the board of directors for The Health Collaborative partners. The group convenes and advances the region’s healthcare community in tackling challenges that are facing the Tri-State region. 

Cricket Meehan, director;  Debora Robison, director of outreach collaboration; Kenyetta Lee, associate director of training; and Glenna Edwards, project administrator of the School-Based Center of Excellence, received $752,780 from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for a project entitled "Ohio School Wellness Initiative Expansion."

Cory Rusinek, assistant professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, received $94,787 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, pass-through funds from the U.S. Department of Energy, for a project entitled "Electrochemical Removal of Contaminants from Water and Soil."

Lesley Knoll, assistant professor of Biology, and Jing Zhang and Thomas Fisher, professors of Statistics, received $257,112 from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "Collaborative Research: LTREB Renewal: Will Increases in Dissolved Organic Matter Accelerate a Shift in Trophic Status Through Anoxia-Driven Positive Feedbacks in an Oligotrophic Lake?."  

Cameron Hay-Rollins, chair and professor of Anthropology, received $64,287 from the One Ohio Recovery Foundation for a project entitled "R-silience in Region 14: Expanding Access to A Free Recovery Support Service in Butler, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Greene, Madison, and Warren Counties."

Anne Whitesell, assistant professor of Political Science, received $9,317 from the Public Religion Research Institutes, pass-through funds from the Mellon Foundation, for a project entitled "Policy Agenda of Pro-Life Organizations."
