Love.Honor.Care returns to Millett Hall on Feb. 21-22
This annual Miami initiative, returning for a 10th edition this year, raises funds for local cancer support organizations. Ride Cincinnati, an organization that funds cancer research and care in the greater Cincinnati area, is the 2025 beneficiary of Love.Honor.Care.
Complimentary tickets for both games are available for all fans by visiting MiamiRedHawks.com/Promos. Fans can request up to 10 tickets for both games by using the code LOVEHONORCARE.
The two-day event begins with an 8 p.m. tipoff between the Miami men’s basketball team and Kent State on Feb. 21, which will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network.
Miami’s women’s basketball team concludes the back-to-back slate against Buffalo at 1 p.m. on Feb. 22.
“This is one of our favorite basketball events each year,” Miami President Gregory Crawford said. “It is such an important initiative that has been generously supported by our community over the past decade. We truly appreciate the community’s enthusiasm in making this a success each year.”
The upcoming weekend also features the 2025 Cradle of Coaches Induction Ceremony on Feb. 21 at the Marcum Hotel and Conference Center.
Nearly $200,000 has been raised over the years through Love.Honor.Care. This year’s Love.Honor.Care games are presented by Western & Southern Financial Group.
Miami’s basketball teams recently packed Millett Hall during One Miami Weekend, which saw both RedHawk squads claim victories.
“The encouragement for our basketball teams from Miamians and surrounding communities has been great to see,” University Ambassador Dr. Renate Crawford said. “Love.Honor.Care is an incredibly valuable cause that Miamians rally around every season.”
