Complimentary tickets available for Miami women’s basketball Love.Honor.Care game

Complimentary tickets are available for the upcoming Miami University's women's basketball game vs. Ball State on Feb. 21 as part of Love.Honor.Care Weekend presented by Western & Southern Financial Group. The RedHawks are on a 13-game winning streak and are unbeaten in the Mid-American Conference.

For the last decade, Miami University has raised nearly $220,000 for cancer research and care through the Love.Honor.Care initiative.

The 11th annual Love.Honor.Care Weekend presented by Western & Southern Financial Group is Feb. 20-21. Complimentary tickets are available for the Feb. 21 women’s basketball game, courtesy of Miami President Gregory and University Ambassador Dr. Renate Crawford.

The RedHawks improved to 20-4 with Tuesday’s 60-55 win at Western Michigan to remain perfect in the Mid-American Conference. They extended their winning streak to 13 straight games, the second longest stretch in program history.

Miami’s ice hockey and men’s basketball teams also are in action over Love.Honor.Care weekend. The No. 20 RedHawks face Minnesota Duluth in a pair of hockey matchups Feb. 20-21 at Goggin Ice Arena. Miami, ranked No. 23 in the men’s basketball AP Top 25 poll and the only remaining undefeated team in the nation, faces Bowling Green on Feb. 20 at Millett Hall.

The weekend also includes:

  • A silent auction at both basketball games
  • Carnival on the Concourse presented by Ohio’s 529 College Advantage at the women’s basketball game
  • Celebrating Swoop at women’s basketball with several giveaways
  • The Pacers Power Pack dunk team at halftime of the men’s game
  • Senior nights for men’s basketball on Feb. 20 and hockey on Feb. 21
  • Rally towels on Feb. 20 at hockey, for the first 3,500 fans at men’s basketball, and the first 2,500 fans at women’s basketball
  • Miami senior synchronized skating performing during intermission at hockey on Feb. 20
Proceeds from the silent auction and the women’s basketball game benefit Ride Cincinnati, an organization funding cancer research and care in the greater Cincinnati area.
