Miami University will host the 10th Annual National Civil Rights Conference in summer of 2021. The conference was originally scheduled for 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.
The highlight came after No. 24 was honored two weeks earlier as Mid-American Conference Player of the Week for scoring 71 points in a two-game stretch — tying an all-time record for the RedHawks.
To demonstrate our progress as we advance DEI at Miami, we have created this website to track the progress of the recommendations and shared these updates with Faculty Assembly on March 2.
Due to a snow emergency, Oxford & Regional Campuses are closed noon today (2/15) through 1 p.m. Tuesday (2/16). Virtual classes remain on time. Students should check with their instructors. Essential personnel are to report as scheduled.
Spotter training courses, free and open to all, are about two hours long and are led by a meteorologist from the regional NWS office in Wilmington, Ohio.
We pride ourselves on providing internal and external audiences with the latest information on Miami news and events. We also provide public relations, media relations, and communications services and resources, as well as administrative information for members of the Miami community.
